Reviews and Repeat Business
A short message goes out after the work is finished, and past customers hear from you again before the season they usually need you. None of it written by you at eleven at night.
Sent two days after the visit. Once, and only once.
The problem
You finish the job, load the van and drive to the next one. The moment to ask has gone, and the customer who was delighted on Thursday has moved on by Monday.
The solution
After the visit, a short message thanks the customer and asks for a review. Later on, another one reminds them you exist, before the season when they usually need somebody.
01
The job is finishedYou mark the visit as done. That is the last thing you have to do.
02
A thank you goes outA short message a couple of days later, with a link to leave a review.
03
A check in laterBefore the season they usually need you, they hear from you again.
04
They come backThe next job starts with somebody who already knows your work.
How it works
Short, polite and in your voice. You approve them once and then leave them alone.
Timed from the visit rather than from you remembering on the drive home.
If somebody answers, it is a conversation you can pick up, not a dead end.
Why it matters
Asking by message is easier for both of you than asking somebody in their driveway.
A note before the season is often all it takes for the call to come to you.
Repeat customers and the people they recommend are the cheapest jobs you will ever get.
Once it is set up, it happens after every job without anybody managing it.
Works with
The finished visit is what starts the thank you, so the timing looks after itself.
